When we set out to do something new it is very motivating to know that other people have succeeded in doing it. When we talk about homeschooling there are usually a lot of questions about the decision to get an education from home. Mainly because we weigh our decision with the thought of whether we are making the right choice, since we socially see education as an established space instead of a place outside the home.

However, we want to introduce you to the story of an admirable character that marked the history of music, the case of Mozart.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a composer and pianist of the 17th century, considered one of the most influential musicians in history. He was characterized by an impressive ability in music and for learning very quickly. When one sees these characteristics of Mozart, one can think: “Surely he went to the best music schools of the time”, but the truth is that it was not like that, Mozart was educated from home under the responsibility of his father and his educational development was so fast that later he was admired by the best musicians of his time.

It is very common to consider institutions as the most important places for the formation of people, but this is not entirely true. Besides Mozart, other characters such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Edison, Beethoven, among others, were homeschoolers.

Mozart said that “the best way to learn is through the powerful force of rhythm”. There are different ways to learn. Even though this phrase is applied to music, it has a lot of relevance about studying from home, since the rhythm of study is adapted according to the capacities and time of each person, so they can develop in a better way and really awaken a genuine passion.

In OCAHS we promote education without frontiers that adapts to the rhythm of each person. You can study from any place and at any time, so that you have your own study pace.

The support of the teachers has been outstanding. They are willing to try new things and help my child grow and learn at her own pace. They also value and respect my input as a parent. I like the fact that the teachers and staff are very caring. They give my student more individualized attention than he had before.
